A poem taken from a highschool journal.

Moving On
I thought you were mine
I guess, we’ll never be
It gives me pain thinking
I need to set you free
What I felt for you
Is unexplainably true
I only wish time would heal all wounds
To gently remove the scar left
It hurts to see your silhouette fade away
Deep inside, I wanted you to stay
I don’t want to waste the things we’ve shared
And felt so much dismay
That you just let it slip away
It was just okay for you
To release me and go my own way
We should really move on w/ our lives
And time will come
I won’t let crying again for my poor tired
Eyes
And today, tonight, tomorrow or perhaps
A year
I will forget him
I know I will….
